Playtime Mandurah is an interactive play-based child care encouraging Confidence, Curiosity and Creativity in the Early Years
Welcome to Playtime Early Learning
A place where your child can learn while PLAYING! Our childcare and early learning centre in Mandurah follows the philosophy of play-based learning, where we recognise that each child is a capable learner who can make sense of the world around them. Learning through play allows children to enhance their imagination, vocabulary, social, emotional, and cognitive learning skills all while engaging in new experiences and environments.
Playtime Early Learning welcomes children from 18 months to 5 years.
Our centre is open all year around, 5 days per week from 7.00am-6.00pm and offers 4 different sessions with morning sessions, afternoon sessions and full day sessions to choose from – We are happy to offer great flexibility to our families.
Our Philosophy
We believe children must have time to play. A child’s environment should be an inclusive, welcoming space that invites children to explore and learn. Our curriculum should balance child-directed and educator-initiated experiences that promote learning, contribute to children’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development, and facilitate their understanding of their world.
We believe relationships are central to children’s education and care. Children have the right to feel safe and supported where their needs are acknowledged and met. Our educators will provide children with a secure, safe base, giving children the confidence to explore, play and learn.
We believe children are competent learners with the right to make choices and decisions that influence their world. Children’s agency develops through positive and respectful interactions. Children will be actively involved in decisions affecting their learning.
We believe all children are individuals and learn di#erently depending on their culture, learning styles and abilities. Children’s agencies are recognised and supported by an inclusive multi-intelligence approach through child-centred practice.
We believe partnerships with families and the community share a responsibility for children’s learning, development, and well-being. Our educators will collaborate with families and outside agencies to facilitate equitable access to successful education and positive outcomes for all children.
WE BELIEVE IN PLAYTIME!
